Cosmetic Dentistry in Fort Worth

Start with what bothers you

Some people want whiter teeth for a wedding photo. Others have disliked a chipped front tooth for years. We begin by asking what you notice when you smile in the mirror, then look at your bite, gums and enamel to see which options fit.

Healthy gums and a stable bite come first. A beautiful veneer will not last on inflamed gums, so we make sure the foundation is ready before cosmetic work begins.

See it before you commit

With digital smile design, we photograph and scan your smile, then build a preview of the proposed changes. You can ask for a softer shape, a different shade or a more natural edge before anything is made.

Many patients choose a combination. Invisalign might straighten teeth first, then whitening brightens them, and bonding or a few veneers finish the shape. We map the order so each step sets up the next.

Questions

Cosmetic Dentistry: common questions

What is the most affordable way to improve my smile?

Professional whitening and tooth bonding are usually the least costly cosmetic options. Whitening brightens natural teeth, and bonding repairs small chips or gaps in one visit. We can show you how far these simpler steps will go before you consider veneers or aligners.

Can I see what my new smile will look like first?

Yes. Our digital smile design process uses photos and a 3D scan to create a preview of your planned smile. You can review it, ask for changes and approve the look before any veneers, bonding or aligners are made.

Is cosmetic dentistry covered by insurance?

Most dental plans do not cover purely cosmetic treatment such as whitening or veneers placed for looks alone. Some related care, like a crown for a broken tooth, may be partly covered. We check your benefits and offer financing, FSA and HSA options and our savings plan.

How long do cosmetic results last?

It depends on the treatment. Whitening may need touch-ups every year or two, bonding often lasts several years, and well-kept porcelain veneers can last ten years or longer. Good home care, regular cleanings and a night guard if you grind all help results last.
